We woke to the view towards the island opposite, and saw that there were already boats on the go, it will get busier as the day goes on.
The taxi took us to the airport and we had a delay there before leaving, although not as bad as we had feared it might be. The baggage came through quickly at Stansted, and then it was trains home arriving in the rush hour. Not quite as we had planned, but we were able to enjoy the relative cool and the green of the scenery as we left London.
