My birthday!
Steve brought me a cup of tea in bed, a great treat (not for the first time - Steve). We
walked /ran down to the bakery, to get pastries and croissants for breakfast.
We don’t indulge in such a breakfast very often so enjoying that, on deck,
with orange juice and coffee, was really nice. The sun shone. This was the calm
before the storm.
Around midday, we said farewell to Stevo and Jasna, who were heading off to Zagreb, very wisely. The weather forecast for most of the week is not good. Despite that, the charter boats were streaming out during the day. We’ll be staying put for at least a few days.

We had a relaxing, lazy afternoon, just reading, then togged up with thick fleeces to walk into town and enjoy another delicious dinner out. The little restaurant had only two tables inside, but we were sufficiently early to get one of them.
