Today was a travel day, with a taxi picking us up to take us to the airport at 9:00. We were on the go quickly after the alarm went off (unusual for me I know) and I walked down to town to buy croissants for breakfast. It was a bit damp and foggy, giving a good indication that the time was right for us to be heading home, not to mention that we were getting close to exhausting the days that we are allowed to be in the country.
The journey to the airport was very relaxed, but the departure lounge was very crowded with passengers as two flights were delayed. We managed to secure a couple of seats, and fortunately our flight was on time. Stansted was less objectionable than previously, and the trains connected conveniently.
